Brunch Electronik Festival 2026: Barcelona's Biggest Electronic Music Weekend Returns with a Bold New Vision
Barcelona is once again preparing to become one of Europe's electronic music capitals as Brunch Electronik Festival returns for its fourth edition from August 7–9, 2026. Taking over the iconic Parc del Fòrum, this year's festival promises far more than an impressive lineup. With redesigned stages, upgraded production, exclusive performances, and a renewed commitment to sustainability, the event continues to evolve into one of the most forward-thinking electronic festivals on the continent.
Following the success of previous editions—which attracted more than 70,000 attendees—the festival is entering a new chapter, reinforcing its long-term presence in Barcelona after extending its stay at the Parc del Fòrum through 2028.
A lineup filled with rare performances
Over the course of three days, more than 100 artists will perform across multiple stages, bringing together some of the most influential names in electronic music alongside rising talents and Barcelona's thriving local scene.
One of the festival's biggest highlights is undoubtedly Kaytranada, who will make his only performance in the Iberian Peninsula this year. Blending electronic music with hip-hop, R&B and soulful grooves, the Canadian producer's appearance is expected to be one of the defining moments of the weekend.
The program also features several exclusive live performances that are difficult to find elsewhere on the European festival circuit. French icons Cassius and Acid Arab will each present one of their only live Spanish performances of 2026, while acclaimed artists including Paul Kalkbrenner and Floating Points further strengthen the festival's international appeal.
Beyond individual headliners, Brunch Electronik continues to embrace unique collaborative performances. Special back-to-back sets such as Âme b2b Trikk, Amémé b2b LP Giobbi, and BASHKKA b2b Sally C add an element of unpredictability that reflects the festival's commitment to offering experiences unavailable elsewhere.
Three days, countless sounds
Each day has been carefully curated to showcase different corners of today's electronic landscape.
Friday opens with Detroit pioneer Jeff Mills, whose influence on techno remains unmatched, joined by artists including Miss Monique, Rødhåd, Marrøn, I Hate Models, and SNTS, delivering everything from hypnotic techno to harder industrial sounds.
Saturday shifts towards melodic house, tech-house and club-focused energy with performances from Eric Prydz, Jamie Jones, Luciano, Seth Troxler, CamelPhat, Kevin de Vries, Massano, and Wade, among many others.
The festival closes on Sunday with a standout DJ set from French duo The Blaze, alongside another selection of internationally respected artists who bring the weekend to a memorable conclusion.
Throughout the weekend, audiences will be able to move between genres ranging from deep house and minimal to melodic techno, hard techno and experimental electronic music, reflecting the diversity that has become one of Brunch Electronik's defining characteristics.
Barcelona's creative scene takes center stage
While international stars attract global attention, Brunch Electronik continues to invest heavily in local talent.
Artists such as Paula GM, Brieela, INEXXSTABLE, NHYMPH, and Mercè represent the city's flourishing electronic community, while acts including B1N0, Lildami, and Flashy Ice Cream introduce alternative sounds that connect electronic music with contemporary urban culture.
The balance between established international acts and emerging local artists reinforces Barcelona's reputation as one of Europe's most exciting creative hubs.
Reinventing the festival experience
This year's edition is marked by a complete redesign of several key festival spaces.
The main GrooviK Stage debuts an industrial-inspired concept featuring a circular roof structure and a two-level design that elevates the DJ booth into the audience, creating a more immersive connection between performers and festivalgoers.
Meanwhile, the IconiK by Yamaha stage embraces cutting-edge lighting technology designed to transform every performance into a visually spectacular experience.
Returning favourites such as HarmoniK, EuphoriK by Estrella Damm, and RhythmiK by Resident Advisor will once again offer distinct musical identities, while the Open Stage continues its mission of showcasing emerging producers selected through an open call, highlighting the next generation of electronic artists.
Alongside the new stage concepts, improvements in sound systems, production quality and site design aim to create a smoother and more immersive experience for attendees, while sustainability remains central to the festival's long-term vision.
When the festival ends, the night continues
The music doesn't stop once the final performances wrap up at Parc del Fòrum.
Each evening, the official afterparties move to some of Barcelona's best-known nightlife venues at Poble Espanyol, where different clubs cater to a variety of electronic tastes.
Friday's programme includes techno at Input, underground sounds at Upload, and sophisticated house music at La Terrrazza. Saturday follows with another diverse selection led by Anfisa Letyago alongside performances spread across all three venues.
For the closing night, the celebration moves to NACAR, where Greta Levska, Fedele, and Shall Ocin will bring the festival to an energetic finale.

What began as the natural evolution of Barcelona's beloved Piknic Electronik has become one of the city's defining summer events. Brunch Electronik Festival has grown into more than a gathering of world-class DJs—it has developed into a cultural experience that combines music, design, innovation and community.
