Sculptural furniture, decorative objects and everyday essentials reinterpret some of Disney’s most iconic characters through the distinctive creative vision of Swedish designer Gustaf Westman. The complete collection will launch worldwide on 15 November 2026.
Some characters transcend generations, becoming enduring icons of popular culture. Mickey Mouse, Minnie and Goofy are undoubtedly among them. Now, their instantly recognisable features enter the world of contemporary design through an unexpected collaboration between Disney and Gustaf Westman, transforming nostalgia into a playful yet distinctive interior design statement.
The Disney x Gustaf Westman collection offers a fresh interpretation of Mickey & Friends through the Swedish designer’s unmistakable aesthetic, characterised by sculptural silhouettes, exaggerated proportions, rounded volumes and a playful approach to form. From Mickey’s iconic ears and white gloves to Minnie’s signature bow and Goofy’s distinctive silhouette, familiar character details are reimagined as unexpected design elements.
The result is an extensive collection spanning furniture, tableware, home accessories and collectible design objects, bringing together Disney’s timeless visual universe and Westman’s contemporary design language.
From Disney icons to collectible design
The tableware selection introduces some of the collection’s most playful pieces. Highlights include the Mickey Cup (€75), Minnie Cup (€80), Mickey Plate (€80) and Donald's Hat Cup (€85), each translating the personality of the beloved characters into functional objects for everyday living.
The decorative offering takes this creative approach further, with pieces that reinterpret familiar references through unexpected shapes and proportions. Standout designs include the Mickey's Trouser Vase (€225), Goofy Vase (€440), Mickey Mirror (€390) and Mickey Jewellery Box (€1,190). Each object strikes a balance between character-inspired design and Westman’s distinctive sculptural aesthetic.
Furniture takes centre stage in the collaboration, with a series of statement pieces designed to bring personality into contemporary interiors. The Goofy Coffee Table, Donald Shelf and Mickey Bar Cart are joined by two of the collection’s most striking designs: the Mickey Sofa and Minnie Sofa. Conceived as sculptural focal points, these pieces translate Disney’s iconic characters into bold, expressive furniture. Prices for the furniture pieces are available upon request.
An international launch
Ahead of its global online release, the collection is being introduced through a series of immersive pop-up experiences in key international design destinations. Tokyo hosted the first presentation from 6 to 8 November, followed by New York from 13 to 15 November. The international tour will conclude in Paris, where a final pop-up will take place from 4 to 6 December.
The complete Disney x Gustaf Westman collection will be available worldwide from 15 November 2026, exclusively online at GustafWestman.com.
