BILBAO BBK LIVE FESTIVAL OR WHAT ARTISTS SHOULD BE ON YOUR RADAR IN 2026
Bilbao BBK Live has revealed its full line-up for the upcoming edition, where exciting presentations of rising artists are being mixed with rock and alternative music. In an environment fueled by the power of nature we are going to present magic through the days 9th, 10th and 11th of July.
Opening the festival with fresh and captivating energy we have an arrangement of artists that are going to establish the level that this edition contains. From the national pop offerings like Dani Fernández and Las Petunias performances to Calvin Harris eclectic sound palette that would turn on the whole festival (you know a pair of songs for sure). Belén Aguilera will present “Anela”, her latest project that led her to do her first sold-out Movistar Arena in Madrid; and before the next intimate tour she is about to devour some festivals along the way. However, the most exciting moment of the day is going to be FKA Twigs, that with cancellations rumours all over her, she is going to present her BODY HIGH tour for the first time in Spain, where songs from all over her catalogue are going to be represented in a vibrant environment with impossible choreographies.
On the 10th, we are going to enjoy the unique voice of Yerai Cortés (his guitar, to be more precise), who is going to present his album “POPULAR” live in Bilbao for the first time; after a sold-out venue opening the first night of Primavera a la Ciutat. Moreover, Robbie Williams will be presenting “BRITPOP” alongside the hits that have made him relevant in the international scene such as “Angels”, “Feel” or “She’s The One”. While Depresión Sonora’s “Los Perros no Entienden Internet (...Y Yo no Entiendo de Sentimientos)”, La Paloma’s “Un Golpe de Suerte” and La M.O.D.A.’s “San Felices” would represent the indie/alternative Spanish offering. But for me, Juice BAE would bring all the spice with her sensual offering where urban sounds and a live band meet to present her latest LP “El Secreto”.
The last day is going to be an energizing experience. DELLAFUENTE is presenting his “BRIGADO,” show that we expect to be one of the religious experiences of the festival, coming from a cinematic tour and a gargantuan stadium show (definitely a must). On the other hand, we could find vibrant performances by horsegiirL, Ralphie Choo and BB Trickz. Lilly Allen will present “West End Girl” representing the female rage and sad pop of the UK. Afterwards, IDLES and Interpol are presenting a compilation of their best songs, and let’s not forget about Amore and Queralt Lahoz that are changing the meaning of Spanish pop with projects based on their roots and in tune with the contemporary world we live in.
Although the festival hosts up to 6 stages, we can say that one of the more exciting ones is GORRIA where (almost) each day we are going to find the epicenter of inexhaustible energy, bringing the upcoming nightclub scene in Spain to a wider audience. A space of absolute freedom where dance reigns. Vampirina Club by Metrika & D.Basto opens the second day with its take on the Spanish underground, where reggaeton and electronic meet. On Saturday night, we would find the Hotcore Party promoted by Taichu, the Argentinian artist and her friends would close the festival on a high note with a mix of urban and dynamic sounds.
We cannot wait to enjoy the landscape that this festival offers us, while enjoying our favourite music in the middle of the summer. Bilbao, see you soon!
